The relationship that we form with parents, families, educators, and with the wider community are important for each child’s sense of self-assurance and ability to prosper. The effect of early learning and the impact positive practices play in brain development are more significant than heredities. Due to importance of first 5 years, families should take early childhood education as an asset rather than a cost. Whilst parents are at work, we aim to forge sustainable and lasting relationship with enrolled families, building excellence into everyday delivery and consistently ensuring our well-designed programmes meet the needs of both children and parents.

    Macquarie Childcare Centre is a family owned 92 place centre, established in 1994 and located in the leafy suburb of Macquarie ACT. We are situated behind the Macquarie shops and across the road from the Macquarie Primary School oval. Our centre boasts two beautiful backyards for our senior and junior children to play in. The natural backyard for our preschoolers consists of a variety of sensory and play spaces to encourage the children to explore and play with imagination. The junior backyard boasts wide and expansive spaces to accomodate our little ones bursting with energy and creativity.

    Edge Early Learning Higgins, previously Little Penguins Early Learning, provides quality childcare and preschool programs tailored to children from 6 weeks to school age.     We are well connected with our local schools, businesses, and services within the Higgins community. The children enjoy visiting the residents at The Henry Retirement Village and sharing stories, activities, and letters with one another. Our peers at Belconnen High School also love to stop by to read stories and share lessons with the children, which creates such a sense of excitement about starting school.

    Flynn Early Childhood Education Centre is an 140 place centre offering permanent full time, part time and casual care for children birth to five years of age with two infant learning spaces, three toddler learning spaces and two preschool learning spaces. To assist vulnerable children and families, under the Children’s Services Program (CSP) funded by the Community Services Directorate (CSD), a number of places are specifically allocated to assist vulnerable children and families in accessing short-term early childhood education.
